About me

I wish the world was filled with more reasons to smile.

From 9 - 5 I sit behind a desk in a shirt and tie writing pages of text in a sector that I love, with a brain that refuses to put the words on a page without an internal battle (thanks Dyslexia) but when I get home, the creativity comes out and what was a confusing mess of words flows from the tip of my pen onto my canvas and the word of waste management is given a new spark. I’m a self taught artist specialising in simplifying complex environmental issues that can be understood and enjoyed by anyone regardless of age or knowledge of the waste sector. It frustrates me that knowledge is locked behind pay walls, and in formats that prevent curious minds reaching their potential, so I created ArtBeatOf… a place where I can share my passions (and my partners career in Histology), make the world a little more colourful, and add a catchy beat to complex subjects (yes we have songs!)
